Radiology & Ultrasound

Accurate imaging is essential for diagnosing injuries, illnesses, and internal conditions. Our hospital provides versatile, non-invasive imaging options to better understand what your pet is experiencing.

Digital Radiology (X-Ray)

Our digital X-ray system produces crisp, detailed images of bones and internal organs in seconds. These images help us diagnose fractures, lung conditions, abdominal issues, and even locate swallowed foreign objects. Most pets remain comfortable without sedation, though we may use light sedation for pets who are in pain or extremely stressed.

Ultrasound

Our ultrasound unit expands our ability to evaluate soft tissues and internal organs with exceptional detail. This tool allows us to examine the heart, liver, spleen, and kidneys, assess tumors, and monitor pregnancies. When needed, we can send ultrasound images to a board-certified specialist for additional review—all without you having to leave our hospital.

Endoscopy

Endoscopy offers a minimally-invasive way to look deep inside your pet’s body without the trauma of exploratory surgery. Using a small, flexible camera, we can visualize areas such as the stomach, esophagus, nasal passages, and ears. Images are displayed on a computer screen and can be enlarged, helping us reach accurate diagnoses while keeping your pet’s comfort top of mind. This service is available at our sister practice, Overton Veterinary Hospital.
